My favorite was the Strawberry Swirl (vanilla soft serve and strawberry sherbet) from the Enchanted Grove in the Magic Kingdom. Sadly, apparently Disney had the dumb idea to get rid of it.
So, of what's left, I'd probably say my favorite thing to eat in WDW is the Grapefruit Cake at the Hollywood Brown Derby. Mickey waffles are a close second.

I have seen them at fairs and sporting venues, but never at Disney. OMG, another reason to ruin my diet at the World.elizabethswann wrote:Cream cheese-filled pretzels? I've never heard of those before!

I know people consider it sacrilege, but I have never had a Dole Whip. I am hoping I will be able to get one when I go in Feb.
As of right now my favorite food for the hot summers at WDW are the Mickey ice cream bars.
For real food, I think the burgers and fries at the soda shop at the Yacht Club (sorry, I forgot its name, but I think it is where you get the Kitchen Sink) were oh so yummy!

Nothing beats the (real) fried chicken and french fries basket at the Magic Kingdom when I was younger. I think it was at the Pinocchio Village Haus, but at a different location~across from the entrance to the Haunted Mansion. It was all my sisters and I would eat, and we ate it for every meal we ate at the park! I still miss it!!!

MK - Crystal Palace Breakfast - Breakfast Lasagna
If you have never had it it is the ugliest tastiest thing ever. It is sweet not savory. It has blueberries, bananas, and various other nummy things. It was so good I asked for the recipe.
I only read to page 3 but FYI, if you really enjoy something at a TS resaurant ask for the recipe. It is likely they have them on file. You get a very nice printed index card which makes for a nice souvenir as well. And if they don't have it on hand they will take your name and email and email the recipe to you. Just another Disney perk.
Some other memorable favorites are the mashed potatoes at MK - Liberty Tree Tavern and the scrambled eggs at Polynesian - Ohana's Breakfast. I know these are not unique items but for some reason I found them extra tastey on my last trip. They were the only things that I asked for more of at these family style restaurants.
