the Backlot Tour is also there still. jenhen27 is correct in that it's basically a trip through the boneyard (vehicle props) and Catatrophe Canyon, along with the tunnel throough the wardrobe "shop" near the Earful Tower.
In addition it includes the walking segment where you begin by viewing 3 people get drenched recreating a WWII naval battle of some kind a la Pearl Harbor (thank you Michael Bay for trivializing one of the nation's most important historical events into a tacky love triangle between 3 actors who can't really act. Sorry for the rant!) and then a walk through the prop shop which ironically seems to house mostly props from movie about the lottery ticket that used to be played on the tour... but now no one ever sees. It ends with the walk through of the AFI museum, although I'm fairly sure you can access that segment without taking the tour.

For me it has to be Superstar Television. I just loved this show. My Dad had a part in the show one time and I always wanted to be in it.

I really miss the Residential street. It could be why I hate LMA.

Would you want to get rid of the attraction that replaced the attraction that you chose or do you just miss the attraction and don't mind its replacement

For example: I would LOVE to see Monster Sound Show come back and get rid of the show thats in its place now, which is "Sounds Dangerous"....more like "Sounds Awful"

I also don't mind TSM being in the same building as Millionare but I wouldnt mind seeing it back in another building.
I'd think that ANYTHING that demonstrated the foley artist would be an improvement. Sounds Dangerous is kind of pointless. Sit in the dark and listen to sound effects. Uhm, NO.

I'd also drop Block Party Bash. Stars and Motorcars had a wider audience appeal. Some don't like HSM, and others like myself are allergic! :!:

You might want to add Sounds Dangerous to that list. According to the operating schedule it is listed as seasonal and is listed as closed for every month this year. Can I guess this has something to do with the American Idol experience?

Hunchback of Notre Dame, This was a favorite of both my mother and myself. She actually made sure she got a cassette of music from the show. I really think they should trade off having different shows on different days instead of replacing one with another. I know it's that pesky money issue. :mickey:

I was sorry to see the Hunchback show end so suddenly. Do you think the fact that it was so out of the way of the main traffic led to it's early demise?

I don't think that was the reason because even when we were there in the early part of September there were still lines of people waiting to get into the show. Darn my memory but I can't remember the name of the pre-show entertainter, he was just great.

Millionaire was pretty fun. The one time we played, my hubby was actually only one play away from getting into the hot seat. That would have been super cool :)

It is a bit embarassing, but I *LOVE* otters, and I fell in love with Pip and Pop from "Bear in the Big Blue House".

I am guessing that they are no longer there.. If that is the case then I second this- bring the original back that has them in it!!!

I can't think of the name of it. The one with Drew Carey, what was it called? I like that one, it was funny and it got you out of the heat.

I miss everything that's missing from the Backlot Tour now. It was one of my favorite attractions as a child, but it just isn't the same anymore.

That is "Sounds Dangerous".

Last I heard it was "operating seasonally" which is usually the last step before taking it out completely... but we shall see.

I also miss the way the Backlot Tour used to be. I remember when they would take you through the section of houses that were used on different shows also the "bone" yard used to house more. I just think it lost a little something when they made way for "Lights, Motors, Action". I don't think some sort of an update would be a bad idea for "Catastrophe Canyon" either.
