Hrmmm. I needs a question....
OK, here's a shot:
A large amount of the merchandise surrounding a particular Animal Kingdom attraction is actually themed around a Disneyland attraction instead. Which two attractions, and why is this so obvious?

I didn't mean to step on your toes IMfearless, but it had been a whole day and you hadn't posted and others were calling for question 'cause they wanted to play. Now we're here to give answers and your not here again? Maybe my trivia question was too hard for you guys. As far as the answer goes it could be numerous things It could all the yeti merchandise from Expedition Everest which is based off of the Matterhorn Bobsleds. It could be all the Tarzan merchandise from the AK attraction based off of the Tarzan treehouse. or it could be the old Discovery River Boats which just the concept not the name, was based off of the Jungle Cruise. and the list could go on. All to often this "trivia" seems to be based in opinion rather than fact.

oh I didn't mean this question, I just meant in general. sorry didn't mean to spout off, but I just find it fustrating when people pop in for only 1 Sec and then disappear for over a day. I like to play and when I do I make sure that I know I be around, reasonably. I don't expect people to just hang all over their computers. When your posting your hosting and a good host takes to respecting others time and fun, not just their own, its courteous. But whatever, I guess thats why I don't bother to play much anymore.

The only problem is, you don't knwo people's situations. I know for one, I work all day, and then some nights I stay very late. I also have illness in my family right now and sometimes i am called away for a bit. Sometimes it takes people a bit longer than 24 hours to check again, and I feel that should be understood. Yess I check back to see if there is a new post, but this is a great community, it's free, and it's entertaining. Where else can you claim that anymore? I agree that there should be a 24 hour rule, but I have noticed sometimes people don't wait that long, and that is what has bothered me. I am not trying to make waves here, just giving my opinion. I like everyone on this board. It's a great place to relax! :figment:

O.O
Woah, sorry, I never saw Figment's post! Let's return to his question, as mine does look more like a matter of opinion.

As an answer to mine (because it's now dead because Figment asked something), I was referring to Expedition Everest using old Matterhorn merchandise. The "obviousness" of this was based upon the fact that, while the Yeti in EE is brown, a large amount of said merchandise depicts it as white. Yeah, it is more of a matter of opinion; I probably should have restated it to more like, "which AK attraction features a major mistake in its merchandise", but even that could have been iffy.

As to the questions: when I can and can't get on varies a LOT. I could be on several times in one day and then not again for half a week. I apologize for that. But I apologize even more for simply not seeing Figment of Imagination's question - I saw someone say it was my turn, and then didn't see another question asked, so I asked again. I have no problem with Figment asking something, and his is better than mine anyways ... I just didn't realize he asked something. Apologies all around, and I hope this hasn't hurt the game.

So everyone answer Figment's question now, please!

Technically Figment, you posted your question a full 70 minutes shy of a whole day. This is a forum, a message board, not a chat room. There are some people who can only get on once a day. We need to have a little patience and understanding. Like yodiwan1 said, this is a community and we need to respect everyone's situations. Now, I agree that if someone knows they will not be able to respond within a reasonable amount of time (24hrs?), they should state so in their post. It is common in the Where in the World... thread for people to give an answer that they are fairly confident in and include that if they guess correctly someone else may post because they will be away or whatnot.

Lets talk Trains. you all might have already done this question, theres to many pages to tell. Can you tell me the name of the working train model or what type of train it was modeled after, that Walt helped build?
To answer this question Walt helped build the Carolwood Pacific Railroad in his backyard. It was a miniature steam railroad.

Since we can't confirm if this is correct or not, and it has been two days, I shall post a question.

And I just now happen to remember that I own the motherload of Magic Kingdom questions! There was a scavenger book with 100 questions in it (I really want to say this was during the 100 Years celebration) and if we filled it all out (which we did) we got something (I want to say it was a free group picture, but iono). I REALLY need to dig this thing up; only maybe one or two questions from there have shown up in this thread so far. In the meanwhile, I'll throw out the first one that comes to mind:

Somewhere in the Magic Kingdom, there is a gas pump (albeit fake). Where is it, and what is floating inside?
(Note: there is something floating inside it, so if there happens to be another pump, you're wrong)

Ooh! I know this one! It's in Toontown in front of Pete's Garage. There is a key floating inside of it, and I think it belongs to Peter Rabbit?

spodie is correct (at least, close enough). It IS in front of Pete's Garage, and there IS a key floating inside it. The joke is, the key is for the RESTROOMS. (Which are unlocked anyways, but I'm hoping I don't have to explain this one.)
spodie gets next question, and I'll search for that book.... :D

Haha-I have no clue why I thought it was a key for Peter Rabbit... Anyway, lets get to another question! Here's an easy one:

In the original Universe of Energy attraction, 2 theme songs could be heard. What were they?

Universe of Energy and Feel the Flow, IIRC. Easy because at least one of the two is played on here daily! XD

Close, IMFearless. You got one but not the other. Remember, these are the theme songs of the original attraction.
