On our most recent visit our family did the dining plan, so we chose restaurants ahead of time for our sit down and counter meals. Our favorites:

Breakfast: actually we brought our own...granola bars, muffins...something light and quick to eat on the way to the bus/monorail
Lunch: sit down - Liberty Tree Tavern (MK) counter - Columbia Harbor House (MK) or Backlot Express (Studios)
Dinner - Le Cellier (Canada), Le Chefs de France (France)
Character dining-Crystal Palace (MK), Princess lunch in Norway
Snacks - yum the kitchen sink (Beaches & Cream), and of course the Mickey Mouse ice cream bars.
I can't comment on any resort restaurants---we ate at the parks.

I never have a structured eating plan but I always loved the Germany buffet.

Start your day with some baked goods and apple juice at the bakery on Main Street USA. For lunch, its either the Colonel Inn in Liberty Square or the Garden Grill in The Land at Epcot. But to finish off the perfect day, it would be great to have dinner at The Hoop-dee-doo Musical Revue at the Fort Wilderness campgrounds!!!

Oh that just gave me a flash back to the big chocolate chip cookies at the bakery. Just thinking of them makes my mouth water!

I definitely agree with your Garden Grill selection.

Mine would have to be 1900 Park fare. Strawberry Soup is awesome! I found the recipe online too! We also really enjoyed the Whispering Canyon Cafe!

My favorite is Le Cellier. The Filet Mignon is fantastic!!!!!!
Coral Reef is also good, but you HAVE to order the fresh fish. The steaks and the lobrster salad are not nearly as good. I used to recommend this restaurant JUST for the Chocolate Wave dessert. It was fabulous, but now they've changed it. (It is still worth the calories, though)

Breakfast - Kona Cafe or Crystal Palace

Lunch - we don't typically eat lunch at a TS so my only point of reference is Tony's Town Square. I'd recommend it especially in the fall for their delicious pumpkin soup!

Dinner - Restaraunt Marakesh (excellent food and fun floor show), Prime TIme Cafe! Fun fun fun!

We had a wonderful breakfast at Akershus in the Norway Pavilion this year. Some very unique items.

O you can NOT beat California Grill for the food and the ambience or Nacoosees for that matter... Love the surf and turf!

crystal palace and the ohana brunch at the polynesian are my two favorite breakfasts.

the sci-fi drive-in theatre is one of my favorite atmospheres to dine in. the whole experience is just fun and amazingly enjoyable.

shutters at caribbean beach is my favorite of the resort restaurants. i used to adore the coral reef at epcot, but after a horribly disappointing experience during my honeymoon, and the lack of seriousness shown by the manager on duty, i've decided it's not worth my money anymore. :(

Hands down the filet mignon at Le Cellier!! On my last trip, California Grille was booked solid, but based on the reviews, I'll have to give it a try next time.

I was just there this past week and it was our first time trying Ohana and I have to say, hands down the best dinner all week. That definitely gets my vote. The atmosphere was amazing and the meat just melted in your mouth. And of course, the servers were very kind and helpful. They each spent a great deal of time at our table and spoke with us quite a bit.

If I had a second choice, it would go to Le Cellier. Again, the service and atmosphere were excellent but the meal fell just a little short of Ohana, IMO.

I hope you made your reservations around the time of Wishes....
They turned down all the lights and pipe in all the music. If you are lucky enough to sit by the window and watch or can go out along the pier to view.
We love it!
