Isn't the rock heated?

According to Joe Rohde...they do a number of different things to keep the lions from getting bored. They heat the rocks...then when they get tired of that they cool them...or spray a mist...or any number of different things to keep them interested in staying on the rocks.

and if you looked down from the second floor, all the umbrellas showed the sun as the different clutures of the earth saw it...

Yeah the original balloons were more geared to "Suns of the World" rather than the way they're currently used to simply represent the seasons...

The "single global sun" was pictured on the middle balloon which represented the earth.

Right now the Egyptian sun on the red balloon is the only one i can remember, but there was a list floating around the internet somewhere.

Who got that? JS?

The largest one that I can think of is at Cirque Du Soleil. I remember it was really big like 20 something feet.

IF you need the exact number I'll guess 24-26 ft.

Len, you're correct. It's located on the Cirque building and is 25' in diameter.

Completely different, but I remember years ago when I went on one of those behind the scenes tours (probably 20 years ago now) they mentioned that WDW could handle a certain amount of water (rainfall from hurricans and such) that it would store and use for watering all of the plantlife throughout...Does anyone happen to know what the number is? I remember them mentioning it in terms of number of hurricanes, but I could be mistaken on that part of it.
