We have stayed at POFQ 2 times in the last year and several times prior to that. It definitely has a better bus stop layout than Riverside. But even with that in mind I prefer Riverside for the overall experience. Either way you can enjoy a nice walk between the 2 resorts along the waterway.

I do prefer the POFQ bus system to the other 3 resorts. :P

POFQ ROCKS!!! Its small, it has ambience, and with only a few stories, it really makes for a "city within a city" feel. We have never had a problem and will continue to go back when we can....It is, and probably will remain, our choice.

being a smaller mod/value resorts has perks. Food court less busy. During dusy times they open the bar/lounge and serve food. most rooms are close to the bus. And first on/first off to the parks!

Don't really know but if it"s as nice as the riverside you'll love. I do hear they have a great dragon waterslide at the pool.

We're staying at French Quarter in December and I can't wait!

A strange question - my mom is really annoyed by those old air conditioning units (the ones that hang right below the windows) when they cycle on and off in the middle of the night. Do these rooms have those or have they been upgraded?
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

It is wonderful!!! Small, not as vast as some of the others, and they really do a great job of hiding you away from the "real world" It doesn't provide balconies but it has such charm and class, that is the only place we stay.

So how was it!?! I just booked my Grand Gathering there for December!

I have heard that the French Quarters has an awesome serpent slide at there swimming pool. Other than that it is a sister hotel with Riverside thats why they share buses, prices, and other simularities. Both seem to be well recomended moderate resorts.

My DH and I are going on our unexpected WDW vacation in 3 weeks, 4 days and no other moderate resorts were available. Our first choice in resorts is the Poly, hands down, but we can't swing that kind of $ right now. Our first choice in moderates is Coronado. It's been years since I've stayed at POFQ. I'm glad to hear the positive feedback. I'm not a fan of the New Orleans style, but if it's a quiet, smaller resort, I'm sure we'll enjoy it. It's my DH's first time staying at POFQ. We're just so excited to be going to WDW!!!!

Hey, bluesky, looks like we'll be leaving and you'll be coming! Where in Indiana are you coming from?! Small World!

Does anyone have recent feedback from staying here?! Thanks!!! :D
