I think it all comes down to money... they believe that they need to keep a "freshness" on all the attractions so they will appeal to the masses. It is sad that our world has come to this! :(

This is almost too depressing to view.

Really clarifies the point that the Disney suits have no idea what they've got.
Wow, that really is depressing. I loved that ride; it was so classic Disney. And it has extra sentimental value because it was one of the first Disney rides my son went on as a toddler. Closing it was as much of a desecration as shutting down PotC or HM would be.

Yodiwan1, when you say you have most on DVD what do you mean? Are these home movies or DVD's from Disney?

How far back do your DVD's go? 70's, 80's or 90's? :mickey:

Why do they trash (or change) the good attractions and keep adding 3D movies? The Mickey Mouse Revue was better than Mickey's Philharmagic.

I wonder the same thing - why not improve or rehab the older attractions, at least some of the time!!

Unfortunately, sometimes the "improvements" ruin the attraction. e.g. littering Pirates with Johnny Depp. (good actor, but doesn't belong in Walt's masterpiece.)

That is so true... I guess we can all now understand what our grandparents were always complaining about! When things change they loose something!

they are made by extinct attractions.com. The guy in charge, dave o'neil, has made documentries of them. He has shot interviews with imagineers and other cast members. Plus uses people home movies, plus his own works, they really are well put together. Great quality. In fact right now he's having a 50% off sale with money going to a homeless family or something liek that.
