On my off day today, and still with a mild headache, I went over to the Wonders of Life today to check it out one last time before it closes for good (more than likely) and it is so depressing. It actually brought me even in a worse mood because nowhere in the pavillion does it show that this used to be called the Wonders of Life UNTIL I walked outside and heard the background music!
Oh my god! I'm going to show my true disney dorkness here but I sat down on the bench and listened to about 30 minutes of the Wonders of Life BGM and it put a big smile on my face!

I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

You're talking to people who are on a Disney site that hosts all kinds of Disney theme park music ranging from dentist drilling to 1 hour area loop music.packwingfn wrote:On my off day today, and still with a mild headache, I went over to the Wonders of Life today to check it out one last time before it closes for good (more than likely) and it is so depressing. I hope you had a good day off!

My coordinator told me that I will likely want to kill myself by the end of the day. I'm supposed to be the one that keeps things orderly when the crazy women get sight of their favorite stars. Sounds pretty easy.
That follows a 12 hour shift on Friday as well, so I've got quite a weekend ahead of me. I tried to complain about it to my roommate here at school, but he's been pulling 13/14 hour shifts in the jungle on a regular basis so he doesn't want to hear it.

Tomorrow my best friend from home will be here with his wife! I'm very excited for their arrival as he's only been to Disney 3 times (with the previous 2 times just coming these past 2 years). He's heard me talk about Disney and the College Program so much that I can't wait to actually be in the parks with him and his wife!
On Thursday, Lion & I went out to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge! It was our first time there and I really enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it to any families with kids, the food is good, the service is fun....Then we took a boat over to the Magic Kingdom (which took foeever!) to catch Wishes/Spectro. In the meantime, we rode Haunted Mansion and all the dark rides (Peter, Snow White & Pooh). We also watched Spectromagic on Main Street, I can't remember the last time I saw Spectromagic from Main Street SITTING on the sidewalk with a front row view, It was a lot of fun, and I think thats what I needed in order to overcome my illness, I just dont think I was having a lot of fun lately with all the working I've been doing so thank you Lion

You're very much welcome. I'm glad you had fun. Whispering Canyon was so crazy! I never had any idea! The straws, the ketchup, the screaming children! Good going for suggesting that place to eat, I had a great time!packwingfn wrote:Tomorrow my best friend from home will be here with his wife!
