My kids loved it...but then again...they were scared to death with Alien Encounter...and they are girls. now lets discuss the plot holes in the program. like why they would want recruits in a room with a level 3 threat? I felt like a red shirt in Star Trek and why Gantu didn't know who Experiment 626 was...come on people this is starting to resemble the Highlander trilogy...quantilogy....series...end game...will this never end? and what was with the uncomfortable shoulder harnesses and having stitch jump on them...no not cool.

Agreed
"Stitch's Great Escape" is one of the later examples of Disney films flooding the parks. Now, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed Lilo & Stitch and the Pixar films a great deal. But what benefit does it give Disney to slap Nemo on The Living Seas, or to turn the Mission of Mars pavilion into what is, essentially, a breathing commercial for a film that has just wrapped up its last DTV sequel?
I was watching a recording of the 1982 EPCOT Opening Day ceremonies from the Today Show on YouTube, and what really struck me was the park's determination not to have the Disney icons permeate the stores and rides. EPCOT, MGM, and Animal Kingdom were built to have their own identities, to invite fanbases that may not have been too keen on donning the mouse ears.

Yeah that's true, if you think about it, Nemo is the first movie-based character to have his own attraction at epcot. The food rocks/kitchen kaberet cast, figment and dreamfinder and even buzzy were all original characters for the park. I think by adding a movie character such as Nemo to Epcot, the park loses something unique about it.

I can agree that Alien Encounter, while I liked it, didn't fit in the Kingdom. It did scare alot of kids silly and could ruin some days.
But man, Stitch is so bad it's not an improvement in anyway. You replace an illfitted ride with a ride that's flat-out terrible. And no one's ever on it, there's never a wait and the theater's always empty.

Timekeeper should not have gone. they could've updated the movie. But, now there's no Robin Williams in WDW anymore.

yeah, they (unfortunately) are. It's going to be themed like a comedy club with everyone's favorite green ball with one eye and horns from the hit movie. It's supposed to be an interactive thing like Turtle Talk with Crush or the new Monsters inc ride at DCA (the ending at least, or so I'm told).
Tomorrowland (and from what it seems, WDW in general) is becoming Pixarland. we now have at least 1 Pixar-based attraction/restaurant in all 4 parks.

Does anyone remember the ride before Alien Encounter? i believe it was Mission to Mars. oh man that made the Country Bear Jamboree seem like Ozfest, it made the Jungle Cruise seem like a luxery liner in the Carribean, it made Tom Sawyer's Island seem like Bermuda. laugh ok i'm just picking for fun...anyways the ride before Alien Encounter was Aweful. they had the same seats without shoulder harness's and the floor moved up and down while you watched a circle tv one on the floor and one on the ceiling. they shot probes off and when the probes blew up your seats moved up and down....i always wondered...if we were watching a probe that exploded...why did we move?

I've not yet had the chance to see this, as the last time I went, AE was still running. When I go down in Dec, I will probably skip it based on peoples reactions here.
one question for everyone - why is this attraction being called a ride? I wasn't aware that you actually moved while watching it.
