Impressive! I did recognize most of it, but what was that tower in the middle? Oh, and I really think there ought to be a Disney World part at the end!
If I were an imagineer, I'd try to get a Soarin' around the world for EPCOT, including each country in world showcase.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Great idea, except I think you need mountains to actually hangglide, so that leaves Florida out since as I recall the tallest point in the state is Tower of Terror. Of course, hanggliding off of the ride would probably be a terror in itself. Okay enough goofiness...

No, no... He's got a point.

That was awesome, and I also was wondering about the big tower. The bit at Kennedy space center was fantastic, too. I don't mind that there's no WDW in it; it's nice to remember that there's a lot more to Florida than theme parks; it's really a beautiful place on its own.

That was pretty cool, but there does need to be an ending at the Magic Kingdom. If they could pull off the smell of the beach that would be awesome. I do hope that someone knows something about that castle...I've never seen it before.

I applaud the creator. Very well done. I too would like it to end going over the Magic Kingdom but still very well done. I think that tower was Bok Tower and gardens, but I'm not positive.

I Agree with Blackie. It gave me chills watching it, but I also would have liked it going ovr some Disney Property. I wouldn't be surprised if they have a "No Fly" zone though... I mean, how many small planes and helicopters do you see when in WDW?

It is Bok Tower, which I believe is one of the highest points in Florida. There's a whole lot that could be added to showcase different parts of Florida, but the creator did an awesome job.

As for the no-fly zone
Wednesday, March 19, 2003
Disney parks are no-fly zones
The new Orange Alert aviation regs have created a no-fly-zone around Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
The new regulations in effect create a no-fly zone around Disney World in Orlando, Florida and Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Unless pilots are granted specific exemptions from air traffic controllers, no flights are allowed within a 3-mile radius around the parks or below 3,000 feet.
Government officials said the Disney restrictions are not based on any specific or new information, but rather stem from a general concern about those two locations as possible terror targets.
Counterterrorism officials said the Disney parks have come up in interviews with al Qaeda operatives. Pictures and information about the parks have been found during some terror sweeps overseas, they say...
Disney spokeswoman Leslie Goodman said the latest airspace restriction is nothing new and expressed concern the latest restriction is unnecessarily worrying visitors. She complained Disney's phones have been ringing off the hook with anxious vacationers calling.
AS for the video... very well done. But considering its location I would not be surprised if they do a fly over the world, or the US in general. Seems like a soarin of the world might interfere with all of the circlevision 360 shows they have.
One other note.. i think soarin is the winner of the best soundtrack for new attractions, hands down.

I still say that if they didn't want to do a Soarin' Over Florida, they could do a Soarin' Over the world and fly over the same countries that are in the World Showcase. They could fly over the main monuments in each country.
Imagine flying over the Great wall of China, and Niagra Falls, and maybe ending with a circle around The Statue of Liberty.

Lovely, really nice. Good use of the stock video, tying it into the music well. (where did they get all that video?)
