My point is, and you are helping illustrate it with your lack of understanding of the law of diminishing returns, is that the price of the production is not relevant to the quality (hence why POTC3 is held in lower regard than earlier installments).

It would be like saying that a bridge made with the world's strongest materials is automatically the world's strongest bridge. Any engineer worth half a darn would know that statement is wrong.

Actually, the most expensive material you can put on a bridge is Boron fiber. Boron fiber is known to be one of the strongest tension materials there is. This isn't often because of how expensive it is. If it were cheaper, construction companies would use this material to make the strongest bridge. Since boron fiber costs so much, the next strongest available material is steel. Steel is used to make every major bridge and building. Thus, the strongest bridges use steel.

Overall, the world's strongest material can be used to make the world's strongest bridge.

For the love of...

Please take an intro to critical thinking course and learn about logical fallacies, and then take at least an intro econ course.

I'm going to say what I say to my girls:

Both of you KNOCK IT OFF!! I don't care who said what, I don't care who started it, I'm finishing it. I'm tired of this.

Seriously, y'all just need to agree to disagree and move forward. It's getting a mite bit snotty in here.

Boilerbabe I do think you're the only one who appears to like it. :) But that's ok, a lot of people died in a lot of wars so we all could have, and express, our own opinions freely.

Might as well draw attention to something no one was looking at before. Kind of like how they were able to add a library to the DLR Haunted Mansion.
