As much as the writers have butt-hurt for the store windows not showing antique items, they forget the entire reason those displays exist, to sell stuff. If you put interesting items in that aren't for sale, then you will have wasted the space.

This week the cannon returns with stale peeps and old shamrock shakes!

Latest update from Micechat: Starbucks Coffee to bring big changes to Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. as spring brings Limited Time Magic to both parks, etc.

Also, Wizzard, if you keep it up then I'm not going to post these anymore. So please stop with the cannon thing.

I will take it under consideration.

Jesus, I know the workshops have other tasks but it took them months to replace an awning?

Innoventions is basically the perfect example as to why tech/educational exhibits (like the original concept for future world) do not work, the content gets stale very fast and it's presented at such broad level that there is nothing meaningful.

As fascinated as I am with the science and tech stuff, it does seem sadly out of place/time. HOWEVER...when 20-30 years pass, it's awesome to see what the previous generation was working on and watch the retro timeline branch. Like when someone pulls out a flip phone or talks about AOL or something.

But would you pay money to see 20 year old tech? :D

Yes. They're called museums in some cases. And Disney has tons of stuff sitting in warehouses. Imagine if they demonstrated or displayed tech from an earlier ride that no longer existed? As in exploded diagrams, mock-ups, or bisected models to show the guts.

Yes, but do museums charge $80 to get in to see them once?

If they did that, it would most likely be a fan service and have the same level of attention that CoP has.

Ah, but there's more to do at DL than just that one attraction, so the $80 isn't just for the one thing. I never go on Small World anymore, but a portion of my entrance fee supports it for those that do. Same analogy can be used for CoP. A friend of mine recommended they do something with the Marvel/Lucas properties they just acquired. The last few years at Comicon, Marvel has had something from one of their movies. Those sets and props would be a great crowd draw, and they're already made. Could you imagine if they put a mockup of the Millenium Falcon interior for you to explore?
