Epcot does have plenty of room to add more countries. I'd like to see Russia finally added. The famous red square, and domes. Kremlin. I believe Russia was left out because of the Cold War and other foreign relations. But, I believe it is finally time to pay omage to one of the largest countries in the world.

What other countries could be added in the extra space?

A bunch of country ideas have been tossed around over the years, including Switzerland, Spain, South Africa, Australia and Israel.

I'd be happy with any additions to World Showcase, regardless of the nation. Drinking around the world would be just a little more fun!

African Nations have been added to the Animal Kingdom. But I think Australia might be a nice touch. Although it would probably fit best with Africa in the Animal Kingdom. How about Greece?

I wish Disney would build an Italian gondola ride like the one at DisneySea. Everytime I walk passed the stationary gondolas in front of the Italy pavillion it makes me wonder if they have the same idea in the back of their mind

They have all of them when the food and wine festival. I remember thinking it would be cool to have some of these pavillions stay.

All of those ideas are great -- I'd also add a South American country (Brazil would be my pick), since the continent isn't really represented at either Epcot or AK.

New Zealand would be cool, too.

I'd like to see some middle eastern coutries like Saudi Arabia or Egypt. And, before anyone says it, it's not all desert there, and there are plenty of things they could do besides the "usual" stuff

Ooooh! Egypt! They could make some cool Indiana Jones-type ride through a mummy tomb or something...

I love that idea! A gondola ride through the canals of Venice would be so cool! Maybe they could have cast members sing "That's Amore." Well, that and probably other songs as well. And if a new country is put in, my vote is for Slovenia. I mean, you've got the Alps, the Adriatic Sea, and not to mention the potica!
Meep meep meep.

Brazil would be cool, but I think Peru might be better. There are a lot of Peruvian ruins that would make for a great showcase. Then there would be a place for a llama petting zoo. sound good to anybody?

Machu Pichu would be great to see - though no petting zoos! Egypt, Greece, Australia, all of those would make nice additions as well - lots of food choices, distinct architecural styles or landmarks, movie/ride potential, yep - they would work for me.

I really hope Australia ends up being at AK so they have the option to have live animal exhibits - there are so many animals native only to Australia

Here are some pics of the new pooh area.

I'll also take some shots when I am down there.
