Oh my gosh, you poor thing, jetlag from a two-hour difference. We gotta toughen you up in the next 2 months ! Do you have the evening flight from Orlando? I never sleep on a plane, just not comfortable enough, but I do close my eyes to try to rest up after all the hustle/bustle of packing, transfers, security, etc. If you can, I suggest hanging in that first day and try to get to bed a little earlier than you might want. So even though you may feel like it's 5pm EST, it'll be 11pm CET, so stay real hydrated, have some orange juice in the morning, and you'll be pretty good for your first full day. And unless you don't like bread, be prepared to have some of the Best bread in the world! In my book, France = Bread, hands down.Soarin08 wrote:
Let's see, this will be post Daylight Savings Time, so I'll be what, 6 or 7 hours behind here in Florida? I got jet lag crossing from Mountain Standard to Eastern Standard time (2 hour difference) so with me, who can say. I tend to get worn down from travelling, although I think my adrenaline for this will be rather enough to keep me awake for quite some time.
Coming home is much easier, other than all the energy that goes into pouting over having to leave. I can't wait for you to go so we can experience it with you on your return. I hope you'll post some photos.
