What ride/attraction won't you ride?

I would really like to ride Space Mountain just once (not a coaster fan), and I was hoping after the refurb it would've been ok for me to ride. Then when it actually reopened and I started reading reports, I figured I was better off staying away still. I hope they smooth it out someday; I think you can have a jerky ride without it being as painful as that sounds.

Heights don't bother me at all, actually! Next to the now-broken Yeti on EE, the best part of that ride for me was the view from the very top of the lift hill. Love the view at the open-door part of ToT too, and I usually request the first row on Soarin' because I prefer being up higher. We've also been Flag Family at Wilderness Lodge before (where you go out on the roof and raise the flags early in the am), and I could've stayed up there for hours. So I don't know what my problem was. Just know I don't want to feel like that again! That was not fun.

You know, I've never even heard of Sum of all Thrills before! We usually skip Innoventions other than to quickly walk through one side or the other. I guess I should readup on it more; might be missing something else I would like!

With PW and TS, I get the names mixed up in my head too. I have to stop and think for a bit to remember which name goes with which ride.

The nice thing about Sum of All Thrills is they do have a test vehicle that you can hop in and have the CM close so you can see if you will fit, and in your case, have any problems with being enclosed. It really is a cute experience designing your own simulator. We found that it usually had a 5-10 minute wait when we were walking by. F1gment can't ride in the simulator, but she was able to come in and watch the pre-show movie and help design the ride before I went ahead and rode on it. She took the time to play and experience some of the other Innoventions offerings and wasn't overly excited about them. But the smart home was sort of interesting.

Well you can also design very tame rides that don't do much of anything, too. I've done all three (roller coaster, jet plane, bobsled) and found them all to be pretty mild if you don't get all crazy with loops and stuff.

You definitely can tame down the ride by how you design it ~ but there is no getting around being enclosed in the simulator. So if you don't like enclosed spaces, you might be out of luck. And the seat is a bit awkward to get in and out of. That is why F1gment hasn't tried it...

A few years and medical conditions back, she probably would have tried Mission Space. The attraction's thrill is no longer worth the risk for her at this point though. She enjoys just being at Disney. She would be just as happy going and people watching and having a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar as anything

Give me a bench or table and a Dole Whip from the MK, lefske or raspberry schuss from Epcot, a carrot cake cookie from DHS, and the chocolate Elephant coconut cupcake from AK, and I am a happy camper! And I don't even like or eat dessert when I am at home, ha.

I won't ride anymore: Space Mountain, Mad Tea Cups, Star Tours, Rock-n-Roller Coaster, Mission Space, Dinosaur, Triceretop Spin, and Expedition Everest. Basically anything that spins, jerks or gives any motion sickness at all! Embarrassing to say but as I have gotten older, I do get motion sickness! I can do everything at the parks for 12 hours straight, walk 10 miles throughout the day, run, jump and get excited by everything... but nothing that spins me or makes me sick! I can ride Test Track, Tower of Terror, and Thunder Mountain, so it's not the fast part of the ride, I guess it's the spinning part!

But seriously, I'm just fine hanging out and taking in all the sights and sounds as well... I think I would have fun with Figment1

I got a to-go bag for it, carried it around a few hours, and then took it back to WL to eat. SO GOOD! Was a little messy thanks to the heat, but the cupcake survived. The elephant also survived the 2 day drive home and is in my freezer as a souvenir.

I've never enjoyed rides that spin....I don't mind dropping hundreds of feet to the ground, just don't spin me around & around
