Re: Month at the Museum
Good luck Amy. I'm sorry I haven't been there to help with this process but it looks like our fellow Marauders have been doing their part to help. I really hope you get selected as I know we would really like to hear all about it in January!

Does that mean you get 3 more days to make any last minute revisions?

Uh, nope. I popped it into the mail this morning at the post office before they announced the extension. It does make me breathe a little easier that it will have a few more days to reach it's destination.mindflipper wrote:Does that mean you get 3 more days to make any last minute revisions?

Thanks for all the nominations! I might just consider writing something in honor of the occasion. I really hope you get the nod this time, Amy!
Jacca, nice to see you adding your 2-cents' worth... any idea as to whether you and Baloo can make our meet-up in January?

Re: Month at the Museum
Thanks for the kind words...this was an unplanned second Month at the Museum and they have adamantly said it is their last. So I will have to watch from the sidelines. Time to get crackin' on what my next career move will be...sigh...NaCler wrote:I am sorry Amy, I know that it means a lot to you. Keep on trying and you'll get in eventually.

Re: Month at the Museum
Sorry, Amy. Most likely they were searching for a certain "image" at the expense of great personality and character. It's so unfair, because I know you would have been great at it. Well, there's always panhandling.... (sorry, cheap joke... smacking my own hand now....).

Re: Month at the Museum
Awww, you guys are great I'm betting they will have a guy this time M-dude since the first program featured a lady. If it is another girl, then I will be truly depressed.
Funny you should joke about panhandling M-dude. I actually saw a cop leading a young man off a street corner the other day. The cop was walking him back and picking up the sign the young man had evidently been using for panhandling...soooooo, I think I will stick to my piano students for now Me and jail would be a bad mix, unless it is the Pirates of the Caribbean jail with the cute doggy. Even then, I think I would be too scared of George to stay in the PotC overnight
