I was stuck for a brief minute on the Little Mermaid ride towards the very end but it went by real fast.

Yep, the radiator springs racers or whatever. It sounds like it's going to be test track but with car's theme (you run through a series of scenes at low speed and then go into the high speed race).
I think everyone who rode TLM has been stuck on it and wanted a gun to end it all.

When I was at DLR today, I got stuck on Haunted Mansion right as you're lowered backwards towards the graveyard. It must have been about five minutes but I was leaning back in my doombuggy and had the air conditioner over me so I was so relaxed. After that I got stuck on Splash Mountain twice, once before the first drop and the second time before the final drop.

Nope, it was just a random day for my mom and I to go. We split up after we went on Star Tours and I tackled a few rides while she relaxed and watched both the fireworks and Fantasmic. My birthday isn't until August though I'm debating if I'll go there or not for it.Amy wrote:Sounds like you had a more relaxed pace dayelizabethswann wrote:When I was at DLR today, I got stuck on Haunted Mansion right as you're lowered backwards towards the graveyard. I would rather get stuck on little mermaid than on Winnie the pooh in DL. Could they have done that ride any cheaper? Winnie the does not make sense, it has no real story to follow.
And yes, I'm a Tigger Fan

We got evaced once from Energy, back when the thing was still relatively new, right as we entered the dinosaur section. I was so sad.
I've also gotten stuck on Test Track for a while, which was kind of neat because then I could get some inside pictures of it.
Got stuck at the end of the Nemo ride right before disembarking and now I really feel empathy for the ride operators having to listen to the spiel. Yeekies that drove me mad. Once upon I was stopped on the Skyway, but that was because the fireworks were going off, I think, rather than it breaking down.

It was pretty awesome, except the friend I was with was absolutely terrified. I remember laughing at her and shaking the gondola, because I was evil like that.Amy wrote:That would be awesome to see the fireworks from the Skyway!!

DW and I were on Ellen's Energy Adventure when someone hopped out of the vehicle, forcing the ride to shut down. It happened right before we came into the Final Jeopardy scene. The CM hopped on the mic and told everyone how it ended...and it was very awkward. We then filed out...having to step down out of the vehicles...which was weird...and went out of a side door.
DW was happy though as she thinks the attraction is extremely boring.

Weird! I wonder if the person that jumped out also thought the attraction was too boring?!theBIGyowski wrote:DW and I were on Ellen's Energy Adventure when someone hopped out of the vehicle, forcing the ride to shut down. Re: What rides have you been stuck on when they broke down?
We've been stuck on several rides. One trip we got stuck on Test Track for a few minutes... several times in a row. A few years ago we got stuck on TTA and had to be evacuated, which was kinda cool... going down the stairs through the "backstage" areas... But last year was the freakiest: we got stuck on the first incline of EE at AK and had to be evacuated. That was pretty hairy because it was so steep that it was hard to get out of the cars. The CM's had to help several people out of their cars. I have a bunch of pics of that adventure. Here's one I took after we made it down off the steep part and were walking back around to the station (I told this story and posted this pic in the Mayhem Marauders December 2010 Meetup thread, too):

Cool photo M-dude. I don't remember this photo from the trip report. Did they give you FP for EE then? How long were you stuck?

Thanks! Yes, I'm sure I posted it... I harvested it from my Photobucket album specifically from one of the days of that trip.... Yes, they gave us a universal FP (never expires)... we were stuck in the car for about 10 or 15 minutes, I think, before they finally came and got us out. It was cool!Amy wrote:Cool photo M-dude. ...or it could just be some brainless teenager doing it for a lark thinking stupidly that no one will see him and he won't get caught.Amy wrote:Weird!
