Brooklyn, NY checking in:
4 inches of snow yesterday morning
11 inches of snow last night
all piled on top of the glaciers that were created during the post-Christmas blizzard
Of course, midtown Manhattan is snow free . . .

Lake Buena Vista dialing in. One day it's 75 degrees and humid, the next it's 40 degrees with rain and a chilling wind with a tornado watch until 8:30pm. Weather, please make up your mind!!! I don't know what to wear for work!!!

We were no better here in North Florida either. At least it's sunny again...as far as what to wear to work: have you considered clothing?Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:Lake Buena Vista dialing in. Haha. I don't trust the weather reports, so it can be 3-5 layers on a given day, not including hat and gloves. It's difficult working outside sometimes.

Yeah no kidding with the layers. Our heat is broken at work....broken in a way that makes it about 85 inside the building...and then I never know if I will be outside or inside so I have to wear tons of layers too. (Although if I am outside it is not for long)

That would be awful to have that big of a temperature variation, especially if you don't know if you are working inside or out!jlpeaches255 wrote:Yeah no kidding with the layers. Mindflipper fancy stepping outside and checking the weather for me, we are heading your way in two or three days and would really like some of the warm and sunny stuff rather than the freezing we had last year.
So what does it look like and can you get a 14 day forecast for the area the only one we can find is 10 day but that is better than nothing it will give us a hint as to what to pack.

Almost any weather Florida will have will feel warm compared to home, so I say, pack all shorts!!Sleepy90 wrote:Mindflipper fancy stepping outside and checking the weather for me, we are heading your way in two or three days and would really like some of the warm and sunny stuff rather than the freezing we had last year.

Florida weather can be tricky and unpredictable, which is why a weatherman is seldom accurate. You can try www.weather.com to see their forecasts. Use the zip code 32830, which is for Disney World (or just type "Disney World"). Either way gets the same forecast. All I can find is a 10 day forecast too. There is some reason predicted/expected for next week, but that can change. It looks to be 70's F for the next 10 days. As MadEye lives in the WDW back yard, give him a PM and he can give you better idea than me.Sleepy90 wrote:Mindflipper fancy stepping outside and checking the weather for me, we are heading your way in two or three days and would really like some of the warm and sunny stuff rather than the freezing we had last year.

You'll probably wear long pants on the plane over right? So at least you'll have one pair of pants if you need themSleepy90 wrote:Thanks for the link checked it out 70's is good for us we are in the 40's at the minute daytime. If you're packing shorts, maybe pack some trackies (track pants) as well. You can rent a locker at the park(s), store the track pants and maybe a jacket there during the day, and when sundown comes you can get them out to wear to keep you warm as the temperature drops.
