Wow. They just tore down the Lost Bar sign and left it like that? That looks tacky.
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

That's a little sad...I liked that ride. Are they replacing it with something else? It doesn't take up much room so I don't know what they could move in there.
Do you know if they are simply removing it since it doesn't fit into their new theme?
Basically...at least according to an article that was posted in the MiceChat update. I believe that whole area is going to become a dining plaza.

Also, Mulholland Madness will be closing soon to be re-themed to Goofy's Sky School. As cheesy as it was, I always liked Mulholland. I thought the idea was cute and Mulholland Drive is known for the curvy roads.
But in keeping with the "older" theme of the Pier, I believe the Goofy's Sky School is going to be themed after the old Goofy "how-to" cartoons. Does anyone know for sure? :goofy:

That sucks about the Lost Bar area, it looked like it was themed really well.

It was pretty cool. On our trip last month, our plans originally included a trip over to the hotel to take pics of the area and to say goodbye to the waterfalls. Unfortunately, that never happened (out of our control) and I wish we had because we didn't have any pics of that area...waterfalls yes, just not the rest of the area. Oh well. At least there are tons of pics posted elsewhere.

That is the one good thing about living in this digital age, you can find photos of almost everything. Not the same as having your own to look at, but at least you can still see places that you once enjoyed!

At least the Jungle Cruise boats are still around. You can play them on the side of the Rainforest Cafe by the ESPN Zone.

Sad to see that the waterfalls couldn't be saved. It really looks like California Adventure will be an amazing theme park when it is all complete.

I agree on the waterfalls! I really wish we had checked them out when we were there. We saw the fantasy waterfall light show from our balcony but didn't know about the waterfalls and walkway at all
DCA is definitely going to be a lot more exciting once all the changes are finished :D

I'm looking forward to Carsland more than all the other renovations/expansion ideas.

That does look like it will be fun! I really should watch that movie before I go though...and yes, before anyone lambastes me, I have never seen Cars...sigh!

Aw, you should check it out. I know people have mixed feelings about it but I really enjoyed it.

I love the pics from Star Tours! It's getting crazier and crazier around the whole resort! I'll be glad when it's all done!

(btw Ms. Swann, love your newest location! Be sure to learn the kitty song while you're visiting her ;) )
