Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

Mindflipper gave me the idea of starting this thread. It's going to be an ongoing description and photo journal of my progress in building a large Mickey-shaped shadow box to display all my DW's pins. It's also open to anyone who's ever made, or wants to make, some kind of art or craft item that's Disney related.
My first installment won't be until sometime toward the end of next week. I need to get the materials and planning together. Stay tuned!
And have at it with your own stuff!

This could be really cool. I'm curious how you'll make a round box.
When I go visit the Mouse I have started taking a 360 degree panoramic shot of a park and digitally stitch them together when I get back home. It's something to keep me entertained while DW and DD are standing in line for a character autograph. So far I have an image for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. It takes a bit of time, but I hope to have all four parks done in the next year and then frame all four together.
Does that count as artsy or techie?

Ooh! This is a great topic!!! Perhaps this will be some inspiration to go....to the craft store and start our own Disney craft project.

How feminine of you!! I proud that you were the one to start this! I'll have to get Baloo to post, she's always coming up with craft stuff. Give her fun foam, a hot glue gun, some card board, and paint and she will MacGyver almost anything!

I guess all those episodes of NCIS with Gibbs building a boat in his basement has inspired M-Dude.

Ray's models are VERY complex. Although the smaller, easier models would take less time...

I'd much rather just buy someone's Phantom Manor model since I'm so bad at crafts.

Baloo has made Disney Costumes out of nothing! I'm trying real hard to get her to post here!! With pictures of course! She's really talented and makes some amazing things. The best thing she makes is, US HAPPY!!!

Those 360 degreephotographs are cool! My one brother out in Cali has the software for photo stitching and has some incredible pictures of the beautiful scenery out there. Are the files too big to share BLT? I would love to see what you have done so far with MK and AK
