When I go to WDW I want restaurant experiences that I can't have any other place. Give me something unique and special. Give me something Disney. If I really have to have McD on my trip I can stop at one of the 400 or so that we pass between Charlotte and Orlando.

Yeh, but the new place seems less appealling than McDonalds!

Why do you think that? I've been to one of their stores in Atlanta and enjoyed it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of MickeyD's.Image

I hear what you are saying Mindflipper - And maybe for me it is more the fact of just seeing the "golden arches" on the WDW property. I quess it's not the actual food that I have a problem with it's just the whole commercial display. Lose the McD logos, put the food in festive Disney wrappers and I'll be fine with that, but I quess that wouldn't happen since the commercial display is the only reason that McD or anyone else wants to be there. I would just like to get a break from commercials at WDW.

I'm no fan of McD's--but it was quick and easy (and predictable) for the kids...
I was more surprised than anything--its just hard to imagine that area with no McDs in it...
