Logic has a similar concept of circular logic - like "You can find the index file by looking up "index file" in the index file." I was wondering if the "dreaming of dreaming" was an attempt at circular logic folding in on itself... :?
Very interesting...... in the twisted depths of my brain, it's possible something like that could happen. I often find myself dreaming about trying to accomplish some difficult, logic-involving task. For example, not too long ago I dreamed I was trying to write down someone's email address, and I just couldn't do it! As I got more and more frustrated in the dream, I then told myself, "this is just a dream, why can't I MAKE it do what I want?" And then I would try harder to make illogical details become logical, only to get more frustrated when they wouldn't. So in my dream, I knew I was dreaming, yet tried to control the dream, only to realize I couldn't, causing myself to wonder why not, and all the while, the dream is still going on! So it's like I had two monitors going on my desktop, so to speak, with one playing a movie, and me writing commentary about the movie on the other one as I watched!
(do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do....*Twighlight Zone theme*)

Oh, she likes my cooking, she just doesn't trust me with sharp objects (buuuwahahaha... ). Just kidding. The whole thing was a joke, actually..... about the sharp objects.... not the dreams.... the dreams were very real.... :)

Maybe the side-effects cause the "dreaming of dreaming" syndrome?

You know, there might be something to that. My wife is sort of an amateur nutritionist because her grandmother does it for a living, so she is always giving me stuff for "what ails me." Anyway, she started giving me this natural herb stuff that was meant to help me sleep at night, and it worked, but it gave me really strange dreams. I didn't know what to think of it.

Anyway, the other night I dreamed I was here posting on the boards. :D

That might be a problem. However, we are all here as a group to help you through it :D :D

Once again, I had my walking down Main Street dream. Wow it was tough and depressing to wake up in the morning.

Natural herb stuff? I think we did some of that in college years ago! It gave me strange dreams and I ate a lot of Twinkies and Pizza. Or was that Twinkies on Pizza? Was it the same?

Y'know, when you work for the DEA you hate hearing these kind of confessions...

...but luckily I don't work for the DEA. Okay, raise your hand if you wet yourself when reading the first line?
