Keep your eyes open for hard to find characters. WHen I worked there in 2001 and the Gargoyles sartoon was popular that had them in the park, and like I have said in other posts. Last year that had an entire walkway of Aline in Wonderland with lots of card characters and Mr. Walrus.

This is my first year going to WDW on Halloween, some of you you talking like you have to pay to be a part of the the festivities. So I can't enjoy the full Halloween on Halloween without buying an extra ticket to the party? how does this really work? is it a little like magic hours where you can see parades and fireworks but you can't go on any attractions unless your a part of it?

What about season pass holders. Is there an additional fee?

Yes, It is an additional fee. It is a ticketed event. Not sure of theprice around $50. You can be in the park from 4-midnight, you get lots of freebies though, drinks, snaks, and of course candy. Most attractions are open/ I know TS ISalnd is closed. DIfferent parade, different fireworks. And everything si deocrated, even the characters!

For passholders, make sure you buy your tickets on the passholder section of the WDW website. You can get a $4 discount off advance tickets for certain nights (Halloween night is excluded)

You can buy up to 3 passes w/ your passholder discount.

According to the website, it is $60 for the entrance. As I've never had the opportunity to go to any special night, I dont mind paying it.

It's not $60 for passholders. It is $52.19 including tax. I think w/o tax it was around $46

If your sister goes before you & picks up the tickets, she could get one for you at the discount too.

I bought 4 tickets and picked them up a couple of weeks ago...you can only get 4 though at the AP discount.

Going on Halloween is the busiest night to go. It sells out and gets crazy!!! I know it sounds like a great idea, but if you want to get your money's worth try to go another night.
