so the name "Studios" is incorrect when describing the park as it is today

actually the more I think about it...the park opening is pretty much the only thing that has to do with a working studio because didn't they get rid of the Streetmosphere folks not too long ago?

Indiana Jones (as long as it stays) still pretends it's shooting a movie. Lights, Motors, Action has that theming as well. I can't think of any others now that Backlot is gone.

I'm pretty sure Lights, Motors, Action will go away in the near future and Indy may as well if Star Wars really takes over that part of the park.

The best thing they can do is to re-theme the park as putting you "in the movies" to make you feel like you are really there...not just on a working set or studio like before. The Imagineers pulled it of in DCA for Carsland...so you know they can do it.

What if we just went with something like "Disney's Third Park" or "The Other One" or something generic? Disney's Topical Themed Land?

Just kidding - I think MGM studios is a fine name - no need to change it.

Ha! A pretty GREEN casino, with square lions outside (unless those are gone by now). But I go to the movies?! I like the ones that serve beer and food, like the nice AMC one in Downtown Disney (or whatever THAT is called now...)
