Good Eating at the Magic Kingdom

I stumbled on the Harbour House restaurant, on the path from Peter Pan Flight to the haunted Mansion. The Fried Shrimp Plate and Clam Clowder
are both great. You get around ten big size shrimp. And of course I always like my Turkey Leg in Frontierland.

Harbour House is my number one favorite place to eat at MK. I usually go for the nostalgic chicken strips/fries, but the fish and chicken combo is nice if I feel hungrier than usual. Make sure you check out the upstairs seating, right in the middle, where you can get a window seat in the overpass and people watch!

I personally enjoy Be Our Guest and Tony's for dinner. For me both of those restaurants have been pretty solid hits for the past three visits.

We love the BBQ Slaw Dog at Casey's for a "Magic Kingdom" type meal.
For the money and amount of food you get, the burger at Pecos Bill's is pretty good.
Surprisingly, we enjoyed the flatbreads at Pinnochio Village Haus...which combined with a window seat overlooking it's a small world was pretty nice.
Oh yeah...the giant cinnamon roll at Gaston's is pretty darn good...just make sure you have something like coffee to go with it to cut the sweetness.

We wanted to try Be Our Guest but didn't want to wait in line for an hour for lunch and our trip was so last minute that no ADRs were available for dinner.

I'm looking forward to trying the new flatbreads ~ the old pizzas were dreadful but the flatbreads do look tasty! And I have to remember to go and at least peek out that window at It's a Small World...I never think about it until we are on the boat and see the people up there.

That would be fun! I always think of the window as being way up high but it is relatively close to the level of the boats isn't it? Or is it just the angle of your photo that makes it look that way?

Pecos Bill's is our family favorite. My hubby loves the warm cheese at the condiment bar. Don't know why, but that's what draws us there.

Yeah...you aren't as high up as you think. Most of the time you only see it from the boat...so it appears higher.

We've tried the waffle sammies at Sleepy Hollow. They were OK. Not amazing, but it was definitely different and fun to try. The fruit and nutella is probably your safest bet -- and, you can use a snack credit for the sammies, which could definitely be one meal or a big snack to share.

I've always enjoyed Pecos Bill's...Harbour House is good as well....Liberty Tavern has an amazing dessert...still haven't been to Be Our Guest, but hoping to next fall! Yum...now I'm hungry!

Those waffles are only a snack credit on the dining plan? That sounds like a incredible deal! I would like to try one, but I think I would want the filling separately from the waffle.

I like Harbor House, too.

But for me, there are two "must eats" in the Magic Kingdom: The ice cream cookie sandwich at Sleepy Hallow and a Dole Whip.

I've always wanted to try the waffle sammies at Sleepy Hollow, but they stop serving them around 5pm and it always seems to be after then when I get the chance.

I love the following:
Snacks - Corn Dog Nuggets at Casey's can't be beat and the pork shank at Gaston's is very filling.
Lunch - Flatbreads at Pinnochio are very good and the BBQ hot dog at Casey's is huge and good. I would say to skip BoG for lunch unless you want to try it for the atmosphere once. It's over price, glorified sandwiches. Although the french onion soup is really good.
Dinner - I would vote for Tony's as the best option in the MK. Since you really can't get a dinner ressie at BoG anyway and it being over priced, it's a one and done for me.
