Already covered, the extent of their sponsorship is a stopgap before the eventual closure (it is only video and signage updates, no ride changes)

Any word on if/when this is going to close the attraction for a refirb? Maybe if it's only queue changes and an update to the video montage at the end it won't be down at all. Fingers crossed it's not closed in February when I go, or touring DHS will be extra speedy.

Hopefully it won't be closed while you are there, but even if they are only changing out the films, hopefully they take the time to refurb the AAs throughout the ride. Not sure if that has been done recently and goodness knows they could use it if they haven't been worked on lately!

Since it would at least be a clean up pass, it might actually be closing for the polish pass since they usually replace carpet, paint and get everything visually cleaned up.

I'm looking forward to this. GMR has been overlooked in recent years. It needs a makeover so that it doesn't go the way of the Backlot Tour.

One of my favorite rides, hopefully this keeps it from closing permanently

Going in March, I will report back if anything has changed. I hope not GMR is one of my favorites. Although it could be improved especially the Busby Berkley scene!

That scene is pretty underwhelming. Thanks in advance for letting us know what it looks like when you go :D

It will be interesting to hear if anything has changed, though I imagine it will have to close for refurbishment before we see anything significant.
