Aww, that sounds like fun! I miss the old style character interactions.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

That would be fun. And you're right, people today would get sue-happy claiming unwanted advancements, harassment, etc...Wyntuck wrote:when I was a character we used to stand near the exit behind the rail (Captain Hook and Smee) and act like animatronics, then when people went by, we'd grab them. Wow, couldn't ever get away with doing that today.

Not to mention the ones complaining that their "trip was ruined" because another guest is in their picture, the character spent 5 seconds longer with someone else, etc.

The queue was great! The ride was a walk on, so we didn't spend much time in line. I'm not sure how it would hold my attention if the line were 30+ minutes long. And I spent most of my time trying to figure out how they had changed the space (restrooms) into a line!

Neat! I do things like that too I once rode Journey Into Imagination 3 or 4 times in a row (odd how there was no wait once they changed it ) shortly after they changed it from the original and was sketching the track in the dark to figure out how it had changed ~ plus the smell from the original attraction was still there so I was sniffing it all in to remember what was now lost The CMs watching on the cc tv probably wondered what in the heck I was doingMarty Moose wrote:The queue was great! Re: New Peter Pan Queue
Just got back and we waited once at the Peter Pan queue just to see it. It is very well done and has some interactive parts and some surprises to keep guests entertained. It definitely brought us in to the spirit of the attraction. Plus, air conditioning never hurts. Good change!
Hoping to go back to the Magic soon.
