Is there something in the middle of October that makes it peak time and so they don't offer the free dining?

Probably the Halloween stuff, since that seems to be a decent draw.

The Food and Wine Festival is going on during that time as well, although it starts and ends during some of the date ranges offered for the free dining promotion.

That too, even though all the musicians they hire are on the "way downhill" side of their careers, the performers during those weeks may be the headlines, which implies the demand is at it's apex for the festival.

I definitely think it's a combination of both the F&W festival and the MNSSHP.

Last year we saw Jefferson Starship without Grace Slick. They were OK but really....missing the main ingredient. Imagine Aerosmith without Steven Tyler or the Stones without Mick or Van Halen without David Lee Roth. Yeah-something like that.

I still think William Shatner's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds has to be the worse!!
