My nephew is autistic. We were by Toy Story at MGM and he was rapidly veering into freak-out mode. One of the Toy Soldier guys came up next to him, caught his attention, saluted him and started marching in place. My nephew sorta stared then started marching too. This Toy Soldier man marched with him for probably 10 minutes until all was well in the world. Thank you Toy Soldier man!

A custodial cast member at Test Track found out we were from a small town in central Florida and he had family in the same town. He backdoored us via the VIP lounge onto the attraction.
Our three kids were elated. It cost the company nothing, and the kids talk about it today... years later.

I had tripped over something and hurt my knee one day at WDW. We happened to be passing the cast member dressed as a fireman and he saw what happened. He ran over and helped me up and gave me a band aid. He told be to be care ful and then gave me a fire hat.

I have two that really stand out in my mind.... 1. Back in 2010, me and my older two children (DD11 & DS9 at the time) had just arrived at the Magic Kingdom to take advantage of evening extra magic hours. It had been raining pretty heavy for a few hours and the ground was very wet...as we were first stepping foot on Main Street, my son stepped on the back of my flip-flop ripping the front piece that holds it to your foot completely off. I tried to put it back together, but it was hopeless. So, with one flip-flop on and the other in hand, we headed toward the Emporium to get some new footwear...on our way, I was stopped by a cast member who was sweeping on Main Street. I assumed she was going to tell me that I had to wear shoes while in the park, but much to my surprise she escorted me back to the shoes and got the manager. I was told to pick any footwear and it would be comp'd by Disney. This is where I got my first pair of Mickey Crocs and have never been without a pair since... 2. During our 2012 visit, we had a character breakfast at Tusker House...Before we left our resort, my son was complaining about his allergies so my wife gave him some Benadryl (no thought about it, happens quite often). Everything seemed fine, traveling to AK, waiting for breakfast, pictures with Donald...he was eating like a typical growing boy, having fun with all of the characters as they circled our table. Nearing the end of breakfast, my wife got up to take my daughter and younger son (4) to the restroom....no sooner did they leave, my son vomited all over the table spilling on to his lap...the restaurant staff did an amazing job making it seem like no big deal. They were on the scene immediately and cleaned everything up within minutes. My wife returned to the table and I ran out to see if I could find him some new clothes...My wife called me shortly after leaving letting me know that the Tusker House manager had given him a new AK shirt and someone was trying to locate a new pair of shorts...Apparently they do not sell shorts in AK so a cast member drove over to Blizzard Beach, picked up a black bathing suit and brought it back for him...Not only was this above and beyond, but we were also given FP for all of the major attractions in the park. Cast Members and the customer experience that Disney instills in it's employees is what keeps me and my family going back every year. If only more of the world could be like "THE WORLD."

Wow ~ it does sound like they went above and beyond on both occasions! That is the Disney magic that everyone admires so much
