Yeah, I don't think I will ever tire of WDW! I might get frustrated that I don't have the money to go though...DisneyYorkie wrote:We will be moving right into the Kissimmee area where DD is going to college. We plan on getting season passes. Just like the beach (10 minutes away)... Once it's in your backyard, you just don't seem to make it out that way as often. At least, such is my case.Amy wrote:That is one of my dreams, to live close enough that I can go to WDW, relax on a bench and do some drawing!
Where is your Favorite place to sit and listen to the music?

Oh yes. Definitely.Amy wrote: Yeah, I don't think I will ever tire of WDW! I might get frustrated that I don't have the money to go though...
I thought of another place. Floating around in the resort pool and hot tub after evening EMH. At that point in the night, it's usually deserted, so we can hear the hotel's loop very well.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

I had always heard people talk about how much they love it...but before I experienced it myself I couldn't fully understand it...

That sounds lovely! We're never back to the hotel early enough to see any firework shows. We always stay at the parks until the bitter end. We have enjoyed the castle changing colors from the pool at the Poly though (and stayed late enough to see them turn the colors off ). While I think it'd be fun to watch Wishes from there, I think too many people would end up standing directly in front of you for you to fully enjoy it.boilerbabe wrote:Excellent one Poly Princess!!!! Re: Where is your Favorite place to sit and listen to the mu
I've been thinking really hard about my favorite places to sit and listen. Reality is that I'm rarely sitting! But I think my favorite place is anywhere along the World Showcase in Epcot, especially deep within one of the pavilion areas. It's really immersive. Can't say that we can necessarily hear the music, but when I hear music on Sub that is from a particular area, it transports me immediately and I can see (and sometimes smell) that part of WDW.

Right off the top of me head:
DHS - Animation Courtyard
MK - I like the music in and around the Village Haus (must be the German in me - sucker for all that yodeling and accordion), but admit that there is generally no sitting while at MK...
AK - Flame Tree BBQ area
EPCOT - Anywhere around the Fountain of Nations
Resorts - OKW pool area (great music) and AKL lobby

Can't get back to WDW soon enought, but alas, no immediate plans...
Re: Where is your Favorite place to sit and listen to the mu
I think I agree with all of these! I would add adventure land, specifically outside POTC, Wilderness Lodge is GREAT for music and I love being outside of the HM. But like many of you, there is not much sitting on our trips, but I do always listen!jeremyleo wrote:Right off the top of me head:

Also, my wife and I love sitting around the fire pit at AKL at night during the cooler months.
