Refurbishment News
Instead of having an individual topic on a refurbishment, I decided to have refurbishment news in one thread.
The Lights, Motors, Action show is scheduled to have a brief refurbishment in November. The dates are November 18th to the 21st, reopening on the 22nd.

Re: Refurbishment News
The Tiki Room as most of you know was planning for a refurbishment. The surprising news is that the area where the refurbishment work is currently being worked on in the room itself is walled off while the attraction is still operating for guests. Half of the room is walled off. This is so unlike Disney

Now that just looks odd!!! I'm surprised they don't have the entire attraction close!

Wow, I know they try to keep things at WDW operating as long as possible to avoid guests missing out but that takes it to a new level.

Summer is disney high guest times of the year and they probably are trying not to disappoint guests. I think that is actually very nice of Disney to not just close the attraction if I were there I would be in there even with a wall in the middle!

Has time flown by that quick??? It seems just like yesterday that Tiki birds had their fire and was completely overhauled. Seems too soon for a refurb. COP is in so much need of a refurb and some TLC.

CoP is one of my favorites! Did they just do some maintenance during that recent refurb? I noticed alot of stuff not working on our past trip. Anyone know why they stopped putting the year on the CoP sign outside of the attraction?!?!

Because the budget for the ride is just enough to keep the lights on and seasonally staffed?boilerbabe wrote:CoP is one of my favorites! Did they just do some maintenance during that recent refurb? Re: Refurbishment News
It costs resources and for an attraction that is pure expense, it gets put at the bottom of the list when it comes to cosmetic touches.
