Soarin' EPCOT artwork and music
Ok everyone, I've been wanting to know this for the last 2 years since I left my internship at Disney. What is the music that plays in the queue line when you're watching the artwork on the giant display screens? It's kind of like a floaty string type of music. Also, who did the artwork for the landscape pictures that play in between the games? That is the most soothing music/art I've ever experienced!!!

Re: Soarin' EPCOT artwork and music
Inspirational music from a variety of films, many of them war- or flight-themed, is played in the queue hallways in both versions. Some film scores featured include Patton, MacArthur, Air Force One, The Blue Max, Explorers (all by Jerry Goldsmith), The American President (by Marc Shaiman), Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (by Randy Edelman), The Last Starfighter (by Craig Safan), Apollo 13 and The Rocketeer (both by James Horner), Always (by John Williams) and the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers (by Michael Kamen). The Air Force Song and "Jupiter" from Gustav Holst's orchestral suite The Planets are also included, based on their use in The Right Stuff. Goldsmith also created original music for the attraction that can also be heard in the queue. Subsonic does have the Soarin music station that you can listen to.
As for the artist, I don't know. The pictures are neat. This link below has all of them posted:

An American Tail theme is also played in the queue (at least it was the last time I went on Soarin').
We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”
