Yeah...that was my understanding as well now that the Tangled bathroom area is complete.

If they do end up going the interactive queue route, I wonder what all they will include. Peter Pan hasn't been entirely relevant over the past generation in comparison to other character/stories like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse, etc. This could be a way to really explore some of the details and themes of the movie/ride so that you can pick them out during the ride itself.

They can easily incorporate Jake and the neverland pirates and Capt hook into an interactive que, but I still think this one is just que.

while my 14 month old son would love that...I can't say I would like it much at all

I still can't wrap my mind around the premise that Peter Pan would recruit kids to be pirates...as he himself hates pirates...and what happened to Tink and the Lost Boys? I guess that was addressed in one of the sequels I missed.

It seems like the Peter Pan Refurbishment has been extended. The schedule on https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attra ... an-flight/ has the attraction closed through November 13th, opening on the 14th. There has been no official news outlet that has updated the refurbishment dates.

This is one of our favs! We always try to catch it on an EMH night, there is always no less than a 45 min wait when we're there. Still a fun attraction! Will be interesting to see what the refurb brings!

I wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade in some of the effects as well. That volcano just looks sad with its aluminum foil and red lighting.

Yeah...Peter Pan could use a good refurb to freshen it up and to make sure it lasts for the next generation of park goers. I would like if they treated it the same way they did the Sleeping Beauty Walk-through at DL. Pay homage to the original by using modern technology to do what the imagineers wanted to do when they came up with the attraction.

I love the tin foil and red lights!! it reminds me of a simpler day, when you didn't need millions of dollars to have a good attraction. lol

With the re-release of the movie on DVD/BluRay I think that its great timing to update the queue. Thanks to Disney Junior's Jake and the Neverland Pirates, a lot of the younger kids now know who Peter Pan is. I know my two do and my son loves running around the house crowing like Peter. We avoided Peter on the last trip as we were cutting out lines and already had a fast pass for Pooh, so we missed Peter. I think he would love it now.

And as for the interactive, queue-less queues, I'm all for it. We chose to fastpass Pooh because we hadn't seen the interactive portion before that trip. And I didn't want to be one of the parents that had the screaming, kicking toddler. But having seen all the fun things for him to do, I think even as a wiggly, line rebelling toddler, that I would have been able to keep him happy. Haven't experienced the new Dumbo yet, but I can see it being a major hit. I know its not exactly the way perhaps an all adults group may choose to wait, but I think its a fair trade off to not stand in a line with a bunch of kids that aren't exactly used to that level of hurry up and wait.

I am excited to have children have an alternate place to run around and wait for an attraction. I'm not a big fan of being kicked and jostled every few minutes by bored children, and I can only smile so many times at the parents who are obviously frazzled themselves.

I always loved PPF growning up. I would love to see it with more advanced technology. I agree that sone parts do look a little sad lol.
