Idiot. All he has to do is get a job there if he is so obsessed with seeing backstage. IMO he isn't a true Disney fan since he can't respect rules and proprietary information.

I think that is the point, I would love to see some backstage areas but I respect and accept the rules.

Have you ever noticed that people seem to have a sense of entitlement when it comes to Disney? Kind of like "I paid all this money for my vacation, I have the right to do/see/be where I want, when I want, and how I want."

Get over yourselves, people.

Entitlement is the name of the game for 99.9% of guests. You can't even imagine. That's all I hear all day long. I don't care how much money you spent to come here. You aren't owed ANYTHING. Disney is above all else a business and like all other businesses in this world, there are things that go on behind the scenes that are restricted to the people who work there. It's like they can't STAND it. That was a big problem prior to New Fantasyland. "I'm an annual passholder. I DESERVE to get to see all this first!" No you don't, you have to wait your turn like everyone else.

How is this ban going to be enforced? With tens of thousands of faces to look at every day, how likely is it that this guy would be stopped every time he tries to get in? Or even most of the time he tries?
No one's gloomy or complaining while the flatware's entertaining.

Hmmm, that is a good point. Although they did wait and catch him on this particular day. I would guess they distribute photos, or have them posted for CMs to be on the look out for him. There probably aren't that many people who are completely banned from the parks
It does sound like he was warned several times prior to him being banned.

Wouldn't the fingerprint scanner identify him?

They'll disable any sort of media he has, ie. an annual pass or whatnot. And since we generally as for ID during a purchase to tie a name to a ticket or demo to an AP, the name alone will result in the block. If he had a ticket or an AP it was likely seized and subsequently tagged. We have ways of finding these things, believe me. Any ticket can be retained and voided if deemed necessary by security or the Orange County PD.

I admit in the past I've been surprised how the people at Diz can find out things...

You'd be surprised at the many ways I can find people in our system. And how many different ways we can discover when people are cheating the system...
