Very cute...that gave me the warm fuzzies

. So anxious to visit the new Fantasyland

For anyone who has seen it already, I was wondering, since some parts are so rustic & wooded, are there some secluded spots for just relaxing and taking in all the beauty?

I just got back last week, and no. Not yet at least. The huge construction pit in the middle that is the Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs mine train ride plus the walls around Pooh's Blustery Day (which was not scheduled to be closed but in fact was) make for a congested area. Hopefully after that is finished and the enchanted forest around Rapunzel's tower opens, there will be some magic spots for resting.
But for now, not so much.

Thanks JenMuse...hope you had a great time anyway

. Cannot wait to see the whole thing completely finished...hadn't heard about Rapunzel's tower, and enchanted forest until now. Is Pooh's Blustery Day being redone, or is it new? This refurb has been a bit confusing for me...they've added so much at once

. Looking forward to it all though!

They were pretty mum about Rapunzel's tower and the enchanted forest which I think will be for the Tinkerbell & friends meet and greet. All the focus was on Beauty and the Beast and the Mermaid. I don't know if they were withholding the Rapunzel & Forest info in order to make it a surprise or if they just weren't sure what they would do with it...I hope they don't make it a designated smoking spot. That would be horrid!
As for Pooh, I don't know why it was closed. looked like they were working on the queue area again (the tree and playground) as the ride itself was visible and quiet, or at least no noise could be heard over the crowd and the construction sounds in the pit). I still resent it just a smidge for replacing Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but it's so charming I cannot help but smile at it.
The last panel of Small World (all the good byes in various languages) was also behind walls, so there's something going on there.
One great thing that was almost jaw dropping was how absolutely beautiful the bears of Bear Country looked. They all got new furs and were just lovely to behold. I wanted to run on stage, hug Henry, and pet Trixie. Beautiful work by the costume department. And they made a few minor changes to the show which only we die-hard fans would notice.
President Obama has not recorded a new speech for his second term...don't know if he will. I don't think Clinton or Bush did.
I enjoyed my trip (the magic mirror in Maurice's cottage, is magical!) but as much as it pains me, I think I will wait to plan another trip until 2015 when all should be done and the grand opening crowds have dissipated.
