Epcot reminds me so much of my childhood because I spent so much time there it's awesome that some of our heritage is built into the park :-).
I like it, too, because while I want to go to the UK some day, I haven't been there yet.
I actually saw a few of the red phone booths when I was in the UK in 2003 ~ it was pretty neat to see them as the only place I had ever seen them before that was in EPCOT!
There are still a few around but usually in small villages where the village has purchased the box themselves.

I couldn't find another thread that these pictures would fit in...so I am putting them here.

I was a Hobby Lobby this past weekend and walked past these two jewels...and immediately thought of Soarin'.

Aren't they cool?

I wonder what the shipping would be for something like that?

If you bought them, it would be an excuse to take a WDW trip.

Just sayin'

I'll add that to my list of 1,000+ reasons to go to WDW

I can't believe there is no Hobby Lobby in Orlando. I thought they were all over the place.

(these were in the 50+% off clearance area...so they may not be in every Hobby Lobby)

Those are pretty neat! And 50% off probably makes them almost affordable. I can't believe there aren't any Hobby Lobby stores down there either...You might check online Soarin'

Ocala is the closest I am aware of. We have JoAnn's around here instead.

I think you best buy one of those.
If you want the real deal they start at around £2200 ($3285) without phone.
Fully refurbished, as new, with phone £4800 ($7168).
:o
And then there is the shipping costs!
I could come back over to WDW for that price - still saving
:)

If I had the money and the space I would buy one in an instant!!

Oh dear, elizabethswann..... I hope you do realise that the Tardis isn't a telephone box, its a police box, which is a whole other thing! However, there are places you can buy a Tardis too :)
