How do I get an incorrect dinning charge corrected?

In short, a large number of us went to WDW in Dec, 2011. I was charged quite a bit of money for a dinner and Illuminations package that I cancelled in the appropriate time table. I have called Dining and my credit card. They sent me to a couple places but no one seems willing to refund the money and the excuse i'm getting was that it was too long ago. I called in Jan/Feb when I first got the bill, was told it would be looked into and no one got back to me and I more or less forgot about it. If it was $50 or something, I would just chalk it up to a loss and move on, but it is signifigantly more.

Not only is the charge incorrect and signifigant, but I am severly frustrated and surprised at Disney's unwillingness to correct this error. My credit card was charged for 12 people to stay at the Beach Club for 8 nights, tickets, etc. and this was only my most recent trip. I'm getting a very sour taste that I really want to get rid of.

If anyone has the direct number to Le Celier or the Beach Club, maybe I can call them?

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions, phone numbers, etc!

Well, since it's been over 90 days, you are SOL since you can't go to your bank/credit card company to get it fixed. You can try calling and complaining but that most likely won't get you anywhere.

You might try sending a pm to Soarin' and see if she has a phone number for you to call. I'm guessing Wizz might be correct ~ it's probably been too long. But it wouldn't hurt to contact someone and let them know how disappointed you are that it was never addressed as they said it would be.

A little google research turned up this for me:

Le Cellier: 407-560-6857

If that doesn't get you any satisfaction I would definitely try speaking to WDW guest relations. Work your way up with them and they might be able to assist you with this. 407-WDW-MAGIC or 407-939-6244

I pray you are wrong, but thanks for the feedback.

With chargebacks, if you can't get immediate resolution from the place you spent the money at your only option is to go to the bank that issued the credit card, you will need to check the fine print with your institution since the contest window is anywhere from 30-90 days and some use a scale based upon how much money you have with them.

This is probably a dumb question, but how do I personal message Soarin?

Thanks Len! I'll try those numbers this week. WDW was suppose to get back to me with an answer last week, and they have not even done me the courtesy of a call.

No such thing as a dumb question, unless you don't bother to ask!
If you look at the top of the forum, right under where it says "Board index", you'll see the User Control Panel, and right to the right of that, in parentheses, you will see a number with new messages beside it. Click on the new messages, and that will take you right to where you can send a private message.
Or, if you are on Facebook, you could send her a message there. I haven't seen her much here or there lately though, so I image Len's phone number he dug up is the best way to go for now...
Always a pain when you try to contact a company, and they won't get back to you

Len probably knows a lot more about planning than I do! I sort of plan on the fly once we arrive. But thanks all the same :D

Haha thanks a lot for the compliment. However, that is really what this board is all about, helping out one another. If you have any questions don't hesitate to post them up here, PM me, or even email me :D

I just hope you get a satisfactory solution and someone at Disney does the right thing for you.

I'm still hitting walls and no one gets back to me like they promise. I will try to PM Soarin, but FB would be easier, what is her name on FB? And if anyone has a number to the Beach Club, please let me know. I'm struggling to find it online.

THANK YOU ALL for all of your help!!

PS - I'm not too shabby at planning a WDW trip if I can be of help.
