Did anyone else see where they are going to be offering the Princess version of the Star Wars in Carbonite figures offered during the Star Wars weekends? This looks like it would be a very cool, if not horribly expensive, souvenir for little girls. Lots of questions in the comments as to why there is an age limit of ages 3-12 though. I wonder if they have an age limit because they fear this will be too popular and need to limit the audience? Or the scanning software can handle only little faces??
What do you think, would you pony up $100 for your daughter to become a princess action figure? And if the age limit were lifted, would you do this as an adult? What princess would you choose to be immortalized as?

As a male, my opinion may not count, but I do plan on being a dad at some point in my life. Would I shell out $100 for my daughter to become a figurine? My first reaction was "....you've got to be kidding me. No." However, after pausing for about 20 seconds I've come to the conclusion that Yes I would pay that amount of money for that service, but ONLY if she's allowed to make a typical "stick out your tongue and make a gross face" face. If Disney allows that, then YES i sure would. Otherwise, no.

Nope, guys definitely get an opinion here. I'm curious if they would discourage any "stick out your tongue and make a gross face" faces...I bet they would try to bribe them into a "pretty princess" face instead. Although for $100, your kid should be able to make any sort of face they want!

I definitely wouldn't do one for myself (yikes!), but if I had a 3-12 year old that wanted that memento, absolutely, I'd budget for it, cute idea.
I do think they are waaay off on the age restriction though. Lots of girls over 12 would be interested, icluding some who are actually employed and can decide how to spend their own money.

I don't know... $100 will buy a nice photo session, won't it?
