New Monorail voice

So they changed the voice for the Monorail spiels and I hate it. Sounds like a lifeless mechanical voice with no personality behind it to me.

Here's the spiel from inside Epcot:

It does have a bit of a flat intonation. But it sounds a lot like the previous monorail narrator to me...

Nope. That guy didn't sound like a robot and had a deeper voice.

They changed it? That's a huge bummer.

Rode the resort Monorail today and it sounded horrible. Sounds like an overly informative GPS.

It's worst - it's like a person who is intentionally trying to sound like an automated phone service voice...

Wow that is not a good change at all. Kind of reminds me of the TTA voice change done recently. I sometimes wonder who thinks of and subsequently approves of these changes.

No that is not the same guy.. I believe his name was Jack Wagner, and if I remember correctly, he died recently, I could be wrong about that.

But I don't like this at all. Anyone who lives there and/or visits alot know when specifically it was put in? I swear I heard the old Spiel in February but maybe I am imagining things.

Jack Wagner's voice will hopefully always be heard on the door closing announcements.

The narration was originally done by Jack Wagner who passed away in mid 1995. Kevin Miles was the voice on the recordings after Wagner, then Matt Hanson did the spiel for a few years. The most recent voice heard (before this thing) was Joe Hursh.
*Note I could be off, but that is what I believe the history of the WDW monorail voice is.

Sometime last week if not a little before that.
