Agent P to replace Kim Possible

It's been rumored for a while now that Phineas and Ferb's Agent P would replace Kim Possible in World Showcase. Now it's confirmed.

That's not surprisng considering that the other show had been off the air for a while.

Ehh just a different branding to the same thing... It's nice to see Disney trying to keep it fresh.

...and from what I saw of it, the whole thing looks to be pretty easy to change out at any time with not that much costs. Who knows what it will be in 1-2 years from now?

Considering the show was off the air for 2 years before it opened, I am guessing this one will stick for longer.

I agree with this statement. I've never seen Kim Possible or Phineas or Ferb so it will all be the same to me if I ever get to play it anyhow...

We happen to be a family that watched both shows, and I think kids in their teens will recognize both, but younger kids would be "Kim who?" We've never tried it so maybe this year we will since my nephew is now 11 and my niece is 6. The kids will be 17, 14, 12, and almost 7 when we go in October, which seems like perfect ages for it.

I've never seen either but I'm used to Kim Possible being around. It'll be different not hearing the Kimmunicator beeps go off.

I wonder if Verizon also wanted an update considering that they were using dumbphones and the major sponsor wants to show off how up to date they are?

I think I mentioned this a while back, but this is a great idea! We *love* Perry the Platypus! I only hope our kids won't be too old to enjoy it the next time we go.

Well, I think we have some ephemeral plans to go back in 2014, but whether our then 9 year old and 7 year old are still into Phineas and Ferb will be anyone's guess...Glad to be back, although I never really left, I just took a break from posting:)

Seeing has how this is, for the most part, geared toward kids, I doubt the phones/technology that will be used to trigger whatever will happen is going to be as up to date as an iPhone or Android.

I would think that it is though, considering that the hardware is dated and has fewer capabilities. Plus the more passive experience that dumbphones offer, with a touchscreen they can make more gameplay elements that happen on the phone and, more importantly, get people the hell away from whatever the trigger is so that it is less obvious during busier times.
