Awsome video. I also realy enjoy the whole pre show music that they play while waiting for the show to start.

Me too, Goofyfan! There is almost nothing that compares to twilight, walking around World Showcase lagoon, listening to that music and just knowing that, no matter what.....you're in.....DISNEY WORLD!

The beginning of the show is narrated by Jim Cummings, who says: "Good evening, on behalf of Walt Disney World, the place where dreams come true, we welcome all of you to Epcot and World Showcase. We've gathered here tonight, around the fire, as people of all lands have gathered for thousands and thousands of years before us; to share the light and to share a story. An amazing story, as old as time itself but still being written. And though each of us has our own individual stories to tell, a true adventure emerges when we bring them all together as one. We hope you enjoy our story tonight; Reflections of Earth." Immediately following the introductory message there is the sound of a flame being gently blown out and lighting is immediately dimmed throughout the lagoon as well as lighting on Spaceship Earth. We hear the sound of a bass drum beating slowly at first, then faster, followed by the first blast of fireworks shooting across the lagoon.

And, to give a little background on Jim Cummings:

James Jonah "Jim" Cummings (born November 3, 1952) is an American voice actor who has appeared in almost 100 roles. He has appeared in classic animated movies such as Aladdin and The Lion King, as well as taking on roles in more current films, such as Bee Movie, Princess and the Frog, and Winnie the Pooh.

Thanks!!! My suspicions were correct. (Duh! I didn't think to look it up on wikipedia *smacks forehead* )
If you listen closely, there are a couple of spots where it sounds like Pooh...and knowing that Sterling Holloway has not been with us for quite some time now and that Jim Cummings took over, I suspected that's who it might have been, but wasn't 100% sure. He is a very talented voice actor! (I'm fascinated by VO artists! It's a nerdy thing, I know)

Yeah, I love VO stuff too. I was so sad when they replaced the Jeremy Irons version of SSE.

So was I...not only because of the narration, but that version had the best music IMHO.
