That looks nice! Surprising that they are using a wallpaper instead of painting it directly on the wall though...I suppose that is because they are able to work on the mural elsewhere while they are still construction the restaurant??

Just watched it before I signed on to Subsonic and thought about posting the link, but you beat me to it! That mural looks amazing! Definitely going to have to eat there when it opens!

I think it might be a time issue. They were able to make a digital drawing of what they wanted, and get it ordered on wallpaper, but they're going back and touching it up with paint to really make it pop.

I'd like to think it wasn't a time issue. (Considering how long they have been working on this project). I wonder if they did it as a wallpaper to change it from time to time. Like maybe to change it with the seasons or something? But from the looks of the video it seems like it would be a lot of work/time to change it so probably not, but cool idea I think.

easier to remove wallpaper-esque wall covering then to paint OVER bold and striking colors to go over it...

The restaurant looks amazing! I hope the food quality lives up to the quality of the setting and decor! MK could use a quality table service (that hopefully is consistent!). So excited for Fantasyland Forrest!

IMHO the Be Our Guest restaurant is one of the best things about the fantasyland expansion. If you think about it MK only has 4 table service restaurants in it right now and they are all very popular. Besides CRT, there was really nothing right in Fantasyland as well. I think the restaurant will be a huge hit as there is a lot of attention being put into the theming of it. One of the most important aspects in drawing people to a Disney tableservice is the experience it will offer you when dining.

I assume it will require 2 TS Credits once it opens.

Why? I don't ever recall them stating it to be a signature restaurant. Only the signature places are 2 TS credits.

I had actually wondered the same thing as BIG. I've never seen anything official, just figured it would be sort of fancy dining requiring more credits.

I think they want this one to be more of a family place so I don't think they will make it signature. But I'm pretty sure it will be a tough ticket to get into for awhile.

Probably, since you would need a huge amount of space to paint it directly in the establishment due to it being projected, and it would need to be one of the first things done. That and the risk of damage to the mural during construction.

Anyone know when it's scheduled to open?
