Apparently they are thinking that people are getting bored when they visit the MK multiple times on long trips... or they are REALLY trying to grab the young boys that weren't interested at all in the Princess Meet N Greets... or they are trying to grab a piece of the Harry Potter wizard action... you be the judge. Would you be interested in trying this?

It does sound like their "magic" alternative to HP over at USO's IOA. Reminds me of that Kim Possible thing they had over at EPCOT World Showcase at one time.

Apparently they are still doing the Kim Possible thing and it is fairly popular. Maybe that's why they want to branch into another park?

I'm not surprised they're cloning then if it's proved well at EPCOT. Who knows? Maybe they'll do a third clone of it over at DHS based on Phineas & Ferb.

I like the idea. I'd give it a go and I'm not even a bored boy!

I don't visit MK as much because of the kids, in all honesty. That's why I prefer Epcot. And yes I've done Kim Possible multiple times! A friend of mine and I did all the missions in one afternoon- we had a blast!

It sounds interesting. I might be inclined to give it a try if I was on a long trip or lived close-by. I probably wouldn't want to take time out of a 4 or 5 day trip to do something like this, especially since it appears to be aimed at the younger set. I did look into trying the Kim Impossible challenge the last time we were there but the timing was bad and we didn't want to wait around a long time...

I was thinking that they should convert the Kim Possible theme to an Agent P theme, since we would have been obligated to participate in it at Epcot then. As it stands, we only went to England (for dinner), Mexico, and Norway in the World Showcase this past trip.

Now there is an idea I like.

I agree, P&F, maybe Agent P... it would be so much fun and I'd definitely be doing it.

Now if they did another system for Animal Kingdom - what "hot property" would they use to promote that system? Or would they develop something more generic like they are for MK?

My first guess would be Nemo. Maybe The Lion King, but they'd probably just use Nemo since they use him for everything now.
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

That wouldn't entice me at all. I've heard good things about Phineas and Ferb on here, and goodness knows some of my piano students
looooove the show and the music, but I heard a little of the movie while I was at my friends' house a few weeks back. The kids were watching it and it didn't sound at all appealing. Maybe if I had been watching it, but...
I like the Magic Kingdom anyhow ~ I do try to avoid Fantasyland, aka Strollerland during the main part of the day however

The park itself is kinda boring, but I also have disneyland down the street from work so I can go there anytime.
The idea they are using might not be a new as we think, when they use to have disney magazine there was a proposal they printed about a new land based on wizards and whatnot tied to a book franchise that didn't take off (kind of like the harry potter area they built), so this might be an old idea that materialized.
Don't they also have a boy's version of the princess makeover place but with pirates and stuff?

That would be hilarious!!! (especially since it seems Kim Possible has pretty much left the building these days)
We have never participated in the KP challenge...perhaps it's something a bunch of Mayhem Marauding-jalapeno margarita drinking-dole whip eating folks might try for fun????
I'm not real sure of what to think about this new thing they're looking to try...but I like the logo and I like that Merlin is getting some recognition.
(I'm kinda surprised that this wasn't annouonced at the expo...)
