October is a great time to visit!I think you're right. They'll always offer some sort of discount. Probably not, the items are intentionally overpriced so they can always offer some form of a sale and what varies is how good of a discount it is. The current discount which goes through the beginning of October must be booked by the middle of August, so I'm expecting we'll see the new discount announced when the current one ends or a week or two before then.
September would be pretty good too right? Most of the kids are back in school, it has potential to be a bit cooler, but not cold. That is one thing I am already not looking forward to. Even though I know we wouldn't have spent as much on dining if we had purchased food outright as what we received in the free plan, it was still nice to be able to go in and order whatever looked good, instead of whatever looked good that was the least expensive 
When we are buying food, we normally just pick a sandwich or entree to share because the portions are so large. The dining plan was great for F1gment too because she didn't have worry about carrying any money with her.We don't generally take the time to have table service, that is one reason that free-dining doesn't make much sense for us.
