Afternoon Parade twice a day!!!

Disney just announced that the"3 o'clock parade" is now moving to noon and 3pm!!! For me this will help with lines twice!!! lol I wonder if this means that the Celebrate block party is done. I was actually looking forward to seeing it for the first time at the end of the month and joining in.

I thought they referred to it as the "afternoon" parade and not the 3 o'clock parade? (just in case it gets delayed because of weather)...

Actually like this idea. It'll cut down a lot on the crowds who watch it just at 3. It always gets a little too packed at MK during the one parade.

Plus it will allow someone of us who aren't big into those parades a better chance to get on rides now twice a day instead of once a day...

Ditto on that! I was thinking the exact same.

I'm not so much into the MK parades myself but at least this gives those who are an opportunity to have two chances to see it.

Anybody have a link to the story. I haven't seen anything anywhere else. I honestly hope move it shake it celebrate it can run through the summer as I was hoping to finally catch it this time around.

From July 18-31, Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade will run two performances at noon and 3:30 p.m. daily during the busiest days of summer.

During this time, Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it! Street Party will be held during 10:00 a.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The parade will resume its normal parade time of 3:00 p.m. on August 1st.

Too bad you and your family aren't going a tad earlier in August, you could get your fill of the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It parade!

Maybe I'll actually get to see a parade since I always seemed to schedule our lunch plans around the time that the parades were going on.

When I read the topic title, the first thing that entered my mind was, SHORTER LINES FOR SPLASH AND BTM TWICE,YEAH!!!!

So it is only from July 18 - July 31 and Move it Shake it Celebrate it will continue to run. This really seems odd to me that Disney would run the parade twice a day for a two week period.
