7 days a week of....FANTASMIC!!!!!
It's back everyone!!!! Disney announced that Fantasmic! will be shown at least once a night from July 1 -September 30th. That time frame makes some people beleive it will be that way all the way through December at least since. September is the slowest month of the year. I tried making reservations for the Fantasmic Dinner package earlier, but they were still not available. Enjoy everyone!

Anyone know if it's both or just WDW? I know DL use to be slow in sept. but over the last few years the crowds have built up. Especially at the end of the month with the overlays going live.

Oh for sure, I remember some stat from years ago at disneyland for what it cost private parties who book the park to run fantasmic. It was like 10k for the first show and aboyt 7 for a 2nd.

This is awesome news! When we were planning our August trip (moment of silence please.... thank you) we were handcuffed on what days we could do DHS as they were only showing Fantasmic on Tues and Thurs! I hope this will even out the crowds a little more as touring plans.com always had DHS as a park to avoid on Tues & Thurs.

This should bring things back to a more normal level at DHS during the peak summer season. It's great to see it back to a seven days a week schedule but I'm willin to bet it will still be over crowded for each performance. We can only hope this is something that happens more often or gets made permanent.

Well that was the price they charge, I'm going to guess they aren't selling it at wholesale.Amy wrote:Wow!!Wizzard419 wrote:Oh for sure, I remember some stat from years ago at disneyland for what it cost private parties who book the park to run fantasmic. It will be nice to not have to see Fantasmic not operating today on the sign before you enter the park turnstiles.

Wow, that is awesome! I've only seen it once b/c of the huge crowds - maybe I'll get to see it again once the summer dies down a bit.
Re: 7 days a week of....FANTASMIC!!!!!
It was extremely stupid of dropping it to two nights a week in the first place. Perhaps this comes after learning that Hollywood Studios is now the least-attended Disney park in Central Florida.

I'm sure the decision to have two or 7 or any other number of nights of Fantasmic comes down to the bottom line. It must cost a small fortune for each performance between performers, electric, pyrotechnics and other show elements!DIAC1987 wrote:It was extremely stupid of dropping it to two nights a week in the first place. I agree with Amy. The bottom line drives how many performances, and best times for it at DHS are the summer months.Amy wrote:I'm sure the decision to have two or 7 or any other number of nights of Fantasmic comes down to the bottom line.
