So my wife is still refusing to go on Splash Mountain on our next trip, but I still want to take my 2 sons. Can we fit 3 people in a single row? My kids will be 7 and 5, and I'm fairly thin.

Unless you are morbidly obese, I doubt you have anything to worry about.

No offense to anyone who is morbidly obese...

And with the kids being that young they won't want to split you up.

I think you all should be fine. You'll probably be able to say that you want to be sitting between them for the big drop when loading.

Or if its a tight fit, at least you know no one can slip out when falling down the big drop (you can tell the kids that's a safety feature for all riding together)...

Yeah, sure, Daddy needs to ride in the middle just to make sure you boys don't fall out ;)

But have you been on it since the lap bars were installed?

I was wondering about that. Are the lap bars one bar across everyone?

One lap bar per row. So four (4) lap bars per log.

Oh good so it doesn't affect how many people per row.

My uncle and his wife sat with their 5 year old granddaughter between them, no problem. They were not too happy to be riding, but the 5 year old loved it!
