We hop for dinner every trip! Go to any park during the day and usually end up in EPCOT for dinner!

That seems to be a popular spot for dinner. Although I do enjoy going to Downtown Disney to eat as well.cousininmiami wrote:We hop for dinner every trip! Go to any park during the day and usually end up in EPCOT for dinner!

Yeah...EPCOT is definitely the go-to park for dining...which makes it the perfect reason to get the Park Hopper. Aside from culture, World Showcase has the best variety and quality of food of all the WDW parks.

I just wished the park-hopping option wasn't so expensive to add to a ticket...

Re: Park Hopping?
If we invested in the Park Hopper option we would probably hop at least once or twice over to EPCOT just for dinner too. We generally don't go for the park hopper though as we just assume do the parks on their own day and not have to shell out the extra dough.

Re: Park Hopping?
yeah it's only really worth the added cost if you plan on hopping a good bit or if you are there for an extended vacation...because on day 5+ you have probably already been at each park for a day.

This is true about the money for passes that allow hopping. But I guess my theory is if you are going to go to Disney then spend the extra money and don't limit yourself. Its a vacation, splurge a bit.

Re: Park Hopping?
I actually heavily use the park hopping since it allows me to get to the MK a lot faster (I cut through Epcot), but that only works after the parks are both open.
Re: Park Hopping?
We added park hopping for our upcoming trip, but I think there are really only 2 days that we'll make use of it. Even on the days we plan to take breaks in the afternoon, most of the time we plan to head back to the park we spent the morning in. Still, it's nice to have the flexibility.

Re: Park Hopping?
Having that flexibility is the nicest part of the park hopper option. I know when we we there this past December, my Mom didn't think she would be getting to more than one park a day. I convinced her to go ahead and add the hopper option since it was such a small portion of the ticket price and I think we ended up park hopping almost every day.Brian845 wrote:We added park hopping for our upcoming trip, but I think there are really only 2 days that we'll make use of it. In the past I used it almost every day. It was mostly just for food though. I love to eat.

We usually use it for evening shows. For example we often see Illuminations on our Animal Kingdom day since we are done with that park quite early anyways.
When I help people book their trips, that one piece of advice usually convinces them to buy the hoppers.

Re: Park Hopping?
That is why we normally hopped. We would choose which evening show we wanted to see, and end up there for the evening. But we normally started our day at the park that had EMH. I hopped a little more than F1gment since I am an early riserjlpeaches255 wrote:We usually use it for evening shows. Yeah...fireworks and parades are perfect reasons to hop. Especially since they don't have Fantasmic every night...it might not line up with the day you decide to go to DHS...so you could go to another park then hop to DHS for Fantasmic...and so on.Amy wrote:That is why we normally hopped.
