You know, I've never listened to a podcast, just Subsonic, but I think that's a really clever idea for a long distance journey. I may have to borrow it sometime.

I tried listening to a few podcasts but they usually don't capture my attention. I would think that if you enjoy books on tape, you might enjoy listening to podcasts in the car...I'm afraid they would put me to sleep

That's the same list of podcasts I listen to (some regularely, some periodically - depending on travel plans). Can't go wrong with these, IMO.

WDW Today (great for getting tips and just getting all around info on WDW)
WDW Radio (gotta love Lou...he also has the best guests)
Inside the Magic (great videos here too)
Beta Mouse (because I am a tech geek)

I'm partial to The Dis Unplugged and WDW Radio. I prefer WDW Radio because it dives more into the intricacies of the parks and Disney. DIS Unplugge usually is good for park updates and news.

I listen pretty religiously to the Inside the Magic podcast. I like how informative and entertaining it is.
Window to the Magic is another I subscribe to.
And also WDW Today.

Without a doubt, the best podcast I've listened to is Lou Mongello's show. Google him ... he's a very unique guy, very intyeresting, keeps your attention and the topics are wonderful!

I got a chance to meet Lou this past August...great guy. He is easily one of the nicest people I have ever met and his love for all things Disney is almost impossible to match.

When I go back to WDW next February, I am hoping to meet up with Ricky just to buy him a Dole Whip and to tell him how much I have enjoyed his show over the years.

I do listen to WDW Radio and it's a good show. It's not specific to WDW but gets into the history of an attraction at either Disneyland or WDW and that's WEDWay Radio. That is outstanding.

I've been listening to a lot of WDWNewsToday but it's hit and miss sometimes.
