That was a funny read. I never thought about how many alcohol references there are in the park.

Hmmm, since he brought it up, I wonder if the liquor lisences they have are for each establishment or if they can get one for an entire resort (or even all of WDW)?

Funny article, Jacca. Which reminds me of a story (maybe true?) of when Walt was looking for a location for WDW. He supposedly first went to my home state of Missouri, since that's his home state as well. He was looking at locations outside St. Louis and met with the chamber of commerce to discuss the proposal. Well, St. Louis is a company town and the biggest company of them all is Anheuser Busch. Apparently Augie Busch listened to Walt's spiel then got up and told Walt that no theme park that didn't serve beer would ever make it in St. Louis. He was apparently quite rude about it, too (as only Augie Busch could be). Walt was insulted and he moved on.
And so, my home state of Missouri does not have Walt Disney World, so you can drink beer, but you can't ride Peter Pan in the state of Missouri. Thank you, Augie.

Darn Augie Busch anyhow ~ that would have made WDW a little closer to Michigan too!

I used to live in Tampa and we would drive over to WDW almost every weekend ... it was great. Anyways, I remember one evening while closing EPCOT, back at the Soarin' attraction, there was a gentleman that had "had a few" ... too many. They actually had a group of people that came out of no0where, scooped him up quicker han they do when a kid falls and accidentally hurts themselves, and threw his butt out of the park ... fast. The funny thing was, as they were escorting him out he kept yelling, "Do you know who I am?!?!"
